Why create a new net zero framework?

The current net zero framework landscape does not currently address venture investing.

There are existing frameworks for private markets asset managers but most are focused on later stage investing like private equity, infrastructure, and later stage growth. The VCA was created to develop the first net zero frameworks that work for the nuances of the venture industry, including early-stage, fast growing portfolio companies and minority and non-control positions.
